“Carthusians and Apostles” expresses the charism of the Oblates of St. Joseph: to be contemplative like Carthusians in their interior life and active like Apostles in their ministry. Rooted in the example of St. Joseph, they live humbly, prayerfully, and serve others through education, parish work, and devotion to Jesus and Mary.
This international center promotes a sense of community among individuals who share the Josephite-Marellian Spirituality, providing a support network for spiritual growth and a shared mission. It aims to inspire people, in accordance with the interests of Jesus, as exemplified by St. Joseph, emphasizing the importance of service to the others.
The OSJ Youth and Vocation Ministry is dedicated to guiding young people in discovering and responding to God’s call in their lives, inspired by the example of St. Joseph and St. Joseph Marello. Through encounters, discernment programs, and pastoral outreach, it fosters spiritual growth, vocational awareness, and a deeper commitment to Christian service and holiness.
The Education Ministry of the Congregation of the Oblates of St. Joseph is dedicated to forming young people intellectually, morally, and spiritually in the light of Gospel values and the example of St. Joseph. Through schools, catechesis, and youth programs, the Oblates aim to cultivate faith, character, and a sense of vocation in the hearts of the next generation.
The Josephite-Marellian Laity is a group of lay men and women who share in the spiritual charism and mission of St. Joseph Marello and the Oblates of St. Joseph. Living in the world but united in prayer, service, and devotion, they strive to live out their Christian vocation in the spirit of St. Joseph.
The OSM comprises the charitable and social initiatives inspired by St Joseph Marello and carried out by the OSJ and their collaborators. These initiatives aim to support the most vulnerable people by providing educational programs, shelters, social services and pastoral care. They embody the spirit of humility, charity and service promoted by Marello.
