Biography

Aurelio Alday De La Cruz was born in Makati, Metro Manila in the Philippines. In 1988, he entered the seminary in Maracay. On May 15, 1993, he entered the novitiate in Victoria Homes and on May 21 1994, he made his first profession.On May 14, 1999, he made his perpetual profession and on January 14, 2000, he was ordained a priest. In 2009, he came to Rome in assistance to the General Archivist. On April 27, 2010, he was transferred from the Province in the Philippines to the General Curia. On June 1, 2013, he is named Vice Rector of the General House, member of the house council and secretary of the same. On February 15, 2016, he is named general archivist.
