A Spirituality of Hidden Service

The Oblates of St. Joseph are called to imitate and reproduce in their lives the life lived by the Guardian of the Redeemer, hiddenly and silently active in their works in different apostolates. Hence, they are called to spread the spirituality of and devotion to that model of a poor and obscure life.

Availability to helping the local church in need enables the Oblates to be faithful to the charism initiated by St. Joseph Marello. With full trust in the Divine Providence and seeking to respond to the signs of the times, the Oblates avail themselves to different areas of apostolate, especially in helping the areas of greatest need.

Following the maxim of St. Joseph Marello, the Oblates are called to “be extraordinary in ordinary things” in loving and serving the people, everything, and always for the greater glory of the blessed God.

“Be extraordinary in ordinary things.”

St. Joseph Marello

If you have the desire to heed God’s call and follow in the footsteps of Christ,
“Be one of us! Be an Oblate of St. Joseph!”
