50th anniversary of Religious life

Rome: Monday 1^st  October 2018 has been a very joyful day for the Generalate. Our ex Superior General Fr Michele Piscopo celebrated in the community the 50^th anniversary of Religious life. The solemn Mass started at 18.00 and  the new Superior General Fr Jan Pelczarski, Vicar General Fr John Attully, the Councilors and other Confreres of the community concelebrated in the Holy Mass.

The Superior General, Fr Jan Pelczarski thanked Fr Michele for all that he has done and represented for the Church and especially for our Congregation. In his homely, Fr Michele explained in simple words the service he rendered as missionary in Peru, Brazil and finally in these 18 years in the Generalate. He concluded his homely saying: “I am proud to be an Oblate”.

The presence of the volunteers of the procura missionaria, of the Oblate sisters, of the major seminary students and of other friends contributed to make the event joyful and memorable.
